Walk gear - part 2

Yesterday I wrote about all the stuff I carry when we go for long walks.

Sometimes I don't carry anything. I make Lola do all the work.

Lola has an Outward Hound backpack that I'll load up for longer walks. She loves to carry water and snacks for herself and Franklin,  In the summer, she helps us out by carrying produce home from the farmer's market. We've loaded her up with about 10 pounds of apples and onions and greens, which she happily hauls home for us.

  2. Curious - how much does Lola weigh? I'm thinking about getting Badger a backpack so he can carry water on hikes.

  4. What a pretty smile in the second picture! I need to get a backpack for my pups-- Hades could use the extra weight to help him keep a better pace on walks! How long has your Outward Hound backpack lasted?

    1. I got it in September, and it's gone on quite a few walks and is showing no signs of wear other than being dirty. Which is my own fault for getting her a pink one!
